Re: High Voltage Security Fence
We are pleased to offer the following for your
consideration;
An electric fence requires maintenance to maintain its
integrity. The fence has to be cleared of fallen foliage on
a regular basis. We warrant the workmanship of the installed
fence and all electronic components for a period of one (1)
year. This does not provide for operational failure or
damage caused by fallen foliage, fronds, or branches. We
recommend that the fence is to be visually inspected at
least once per week.
We also warrant the effectiveness of the fence by offering
p5,000.00 to any of your people that can demonstrate that
they can get by, or over the fence without creating an alarm
condition. This offer is valid upon completion of the
installation and before final acceptance. If such a
condition can be demonstrated, HWM Safety and Security
reserves the right to modify the installation (at our
expense) to prevent any further such happenings.
Description of Installation:
We estimate the perimeter to be approximately 600
meters.
There will be a six (6) strand system on the two
sides of your complex where a concrete wall already exists.
These strands and supports will be extended from the walls
on the outside surface at a 45 degree angle. See View A-A
On the ocean side of the complex, we will install a 1 meter
high concrete wall, and extend the concrete wall with 12
strands of “charge” wire. This will allow the ocean view,
and yet maintain the security desired within the compound.
See Seawall Sketch
Around of the ostrich area, we will install steel posts
approximately 2.5 meters high with (16) “charged” strands.
Between the posts, there will be installed a concrete footer
to forestall intrusion under the fence and will help to
prevent grass and other foliage from growing into the
“charged” fence. See Sketch D
Spaced around the complete
perimeter will be 10 sets of 12 volt high intensity halogen
lights that will be powered from the 12 volt batteries that
are provided for each sector of fence. These lights will be
illuminated whenever it is dark outside and there is an
intrusion or alarm condition with a section of the
fence.
The insulator supports will be constructed of 12mm form bar
cut to length. The corner and end insulator supports will be
constructed of 16mm form bar cut to length. The 2.5 meter
steel posts will be 20mm cut to length and mechanically
driven in the ground. Each piece of form bar will be formed
and dipped or sprayed in a quality rust preventing primer,
and covered again in a quality white enamel (or color of
your choice). The fence wire supporting insulators between
corners and ends will be our part number ASAT-75 or ASAT-70,
with the corner and end insulators to be our part number
LOC-41. The wire fence strands will be galvanized steel
solid wire. The “charged” strands will be supported
approximately every 2
meters.
The component parts list will include (4) 10KV fence
chargers (part no ASAT-02; (4) voltage monitors (part
no ASAT-03); (1,100) insulators (part no ASAT-75);
(2,200) insulators (part no ASAT-70); (300)
insulators (part no LOC-41); (8) ground rod
assemblies; (4) battery chargers; (4) 12VDC batteries; (55)
warning signs (part no ASAT-54); (204) wire
tensioners/stretchers (part no ASAT-17)
Also included are all additional miscellaneous parts,
components and labor to achieve a complete working system.
