Re: High Voltage Security Fence
for Marco Polo Hotel
Dear Sir,
We are pleased to offer the following
for your consideration;
1.
An electric fence requires maintenance to maintain
its integrity. The fence has to be cleared of fallen foliage
on a regular basis. We warrant the workmanship of the
installed fence and all electronic components for a period
of one (1) year. This does not provide for operational
failure or damage caused by fallen foliage, fronds, or
branches. We recommend that the fence is to be visually
inspected at least once per week.
2.
We also warrant the effectiveness of the fence by
offering p5,000.00 to any of your people that can
demonstrate that they can get by, or over the fence without
creating an alarm condition. This offer is valid upon
completion of the installation and before final acceptance.
If such a condition can be demonstrated, HWM Safety and
Security reserves the right to modify the installation (at
our expense) to prevent any further such happenings.
Description for Installation;
This will be a multiple sector system and will require 4
different stranding systems around the perimeter of your
complex. This complex will be divided in 9 sectors. Each
sector will report via the monitoring system to the intruder
indication board that will be installed in the main security
office. This indication board will supply both audible and
visual signals so that the guards can respond instantly to
the specific section of fence that indicates a trouble
condition.
Indication Panel: The Indication panel will be
approximately 50cm X 50cm X 6cm. When any of the 9 sectors
are cut or shorted, a loud bell/siren will sound and that
sector will light up on the map/indicator board. The
indication panel will also monitor 1) the integrity of the
signal cable 2) the 230VAC to each battery charger 3) each
section of the fence for foliage growth and required
maintenance.
Sector 1. This sector will be secured with a 6
strand system. It will start in the corner by the pool go
over the water tank, continuing over the air-conditioning
service section and going to the access road and following
this road for 60 meters, and then going over the inside
delivery service building area along the wall to the
delivery and personnel gate. Refer to sketch F. The
half of the gate adjacent to this sector will be included in
sector 1 and will have 4 strands on the gate. Refer to
sketch A
Sector 2. This sector will be secured with a 4
strand system starting by the gate and going over the guard
house and along the flower wall and continuing to the
adjacent half of the main gate. Refer to sketch B and
sketch C.
Sector 3. This sector get secured with a 4
strand system starting on the next half of the main gate and
continuing along the flower wall and concrete wall up to the
southeast corner of the perimeter.
Sector 4. This sector describes the boundary
between the hotel and the military base and is secured with
a 16 strand system that will be installed on the existing
concrete posts for a distance of 250 meters continuing to
the paint shop. Please refer to sketch D.
Sector 5. This sector continues along the
military boundary starting beside paint shop and will be
secured with a 16 strand system that will be installed on
the existing concrete posts for an additional distance of
250 meters and going over a building. Please refer to
sketch D.
Sector 6. This sector has 250 meters of
existing chain link fence. The exterior of the fence will be
secured with 11 “electrified” strands to discourage any
climbing, and with the chain link fence will be bonded to
earth ground. Please refer to sketch E. This sector
ends at the gate to the police intelligence property.
Sector 7. Starts at the other side of the
police property entrance continuing along the top of 60
meters of existing concrete wall with a 6 strands system.
Please refer to sketch F. This sector changes to 11
strands and continues on the exterior of 310 meters of
existing chain link fence. Please refer to sketch E

Sector 8. This sector, where the fence has
been stolen and does not exist adjacent to the squatter
area, we will install 150 steel posts along the hotel
boundary with approximately 2 meter spacing, and install a
16 strand system. The complete length of this sector is 300
meters. Please refer to sketch D
Sector 9. This sector is 360 meters of
existing chain link fence and we will secure the exterior
with an 11 strands system. The parts of this section of
fence that were damaged will be repaired or replaced. Please
refer to sketch E
We will clean the complete perimeter of your complex and
repair any damaged fence sections that have been damaged.
The estimated fence length is 2,200 meters.
