Re: High Voltage Security
Fence
Dear Sir,
We are pleased to offer the following
for your consideration;
1.
An electric fence requires maintenance to maintain
its integrity. The fence has to be cleared of fallen foliage
on a regular basis. We warrant the workmanship of the
installed fence and all electronic components for a period
of one (1) year. This does not provide for operational
failure or damage caused by fallen foliage, fronds, or
branches. We recommend that the fence is to be visually
inspected at least once per week.
2.
We also warrant the effectiveness of the fence by
offering p5,000.00 to any of your people that can
demonstrate that they can get by, or over the fence without
creating an alarm condition. This offer is valid upon
completion of the installation and before final acceptance.
If such a condition can be demonstrated, Accountrements
Security Alarm Trading and Services reserves the right to
modify the installation (at our expense) to prevent any
further such happenings.
Description of Installation:
NOTE:
Always power this unit from a 12 volt battery for circuit
reliability and to help filter out and eliminate surges and
spurious voltage spikes caused by lightening, power-line
noise, and other equipment.
This is an absolute
requirement for any security fencing situation. It is
necessary to continuously monitor the voltage on any
security fence. Operating in a fail-safe mode it will
provide a contact closure if the fence voltage is lost is
any manner, whether cut or shorted. This unit can operate on
the same battery as the fence charger and will also provide
an alarm if the 12 volts to the fence charger is lost. Our
recommended design usually requires a separate battery for
the monitor and charger to be used for the alarm
notification circuit which is switched by this monitoring
unit.
NOTE:
The output of this is a "single
pole single throw" relay. The contact ratings of the monitor
output relay are 0.5 Amps at 30 Volts ... since we use this
device with a 12 volt battery input we increase the output
capacity with a "standard 12VDC automobile horn relay" which
we supply with the monitoring unit which has an output
capacity of 30 amps.
A loud siren or horn usually draws
about 3-5 amps, so its necessary to include the "horn relay"
in the circuit.
The PTE0700
Remote Electric Fence Monitor provides peace of mind for any
property owner with remote electric fences. Rugged,
weather-proof design interfaces directly with radio
telemetry gear to monitor remote
electric fences on any
property. Low power consumption means long battery life, and
its high voltage isolation protects expensive telemetry gear
from electric fence voltages. An electric fence fitted with
a monitor becomes a distributed alarm. With the increase in
stock prices stealing is on the rise, if theives have to cut
through an electric fence then make sure you know about it.

The insulator supports will be constructed of 12mm form bar
cut to length. The corner and end insulator supports will be
constructed of 16mm form bar cut to length. Each piece of
form bar will be formed and dipped in a quality rust
preventing primer, and dipped again in a quality white
enamel (or color of your choice). The fence wire supporting
insulators between corners and ends will be our part number
ASAT-75, with the corner and end insulators to be our part
number LOC-41. The wire fence strands will be galvanized
steel solid wire. The “charged” strands will be supported
approximately every 2 meters.
We are estimating that the compound is approximately 30
meters by 45 meters and calculating the number of components
accordingly. If the number of insulators, etc. is less than
the number calculated, then the price will be adjusted
accordingly.
