The most effective Fence Charger that we have found with built in Features
for a quality assured installation. This charger operates from an "easy to
purchase" 12 volt motorcycle type
battery, so that it will continue to "electrify" your fence in the event of power failure
or brownout. It provides a full 10 thousand volt pulse for maximum shock power
and is effective to an intruder even when standing on dry cement while wearing
rubber slippers.
We have used various fence chargers over the last 10 years
in hundred of installations, and this charger is the most reliable with the
highest voltage output of all the units we have tried, so we are proud to
add it to our collection of products.
NOTE: Always power this unit from directly from a 12 volt battery for
circuit reliability and to help filter out and eliminate surges and spurious
voltage spikes caused by lightening, power-line noise, and other equipment.

Voltmeter - monitor the status of voltage applied to the fence.
It determines if the charger is working properly and that there's no problems or
shorts.

Voltage - This charger produces approximately
10,000 volts which is partially dependant on fence capacitance and draws 0.05
amps (50 mAmps) during continuous operation

On - Off Power - switches on and off the voltage
from the fence without disconnecting it from the battery.

Battery Connection - there are two alligator
connectors provided where the red wire connects to the positive terminal of
the battery, while the black wire connects to the negative terminal of your 12 volt battery.

Ground Connection - (Black "hi-voltage"
connector) this is to connect to the
earth ground system with 14AWG or larger conductors.

High Voltage Connection - this will connect to
your "high voltage conductors". Use a high tensile or copper core spark plug wiring to
make this connection, so that the voltage will not be shorted. It is also
common, to run standard wire (14AWG solid) through plastic tubing to provide
the necessary insulation, if spark plug wire or high tensile conductors are
not available in your area.

Operates from 12 volt battery and provides an alarm if the voltage is
lost.
Alarm can either be visual or audible or both.
NOTE: Always power this unit from a 12 volt battery for
circuit reliability and to help filter out and eliminate surges and spurious
voltage spikes caused by lightening, power-line noise, and other equipment.
This is an absolute requirement for any security fencing
situation. It is necessary to continuously monitor the voltage on any security
fence. Operating in a fail-safe mode it will provide a contact closure if the
fence voltage is lost is any manner, whether cut or shorted. This unit operates
on the same battery as the fence charger and will also provide an alarm if the
12 volts to the fence charger is lost. The design usually requires a separate
battery and charger to be used for the alarm notification circuit which is
switched by this monitoring unit.
NOTE: This
is the only Dual Output Electric Fence Monitor with "Weed Alert"®
available in the world.
NOTE: A loud siren or horn usually draws about 3-5 amps, so its
necessary to include the "horn relay" in the circuit.

ASAT-04 BATTERY CHARGER

Normally if you
leave a battery charger connected to your battery, it will overcharge your
battery and
eventually destroy your battery. This battery charger is designed for continuous
connection and charging without hurting your battery. This type of installation
maintains a full charge on your battery without destroying your battery, and
provides continuous operation in the event of a "brown-out" or power failure.
Thus maintains the security of your fence.
A 12 volt DC battery charger (230 VAC input) with 600 PIV diode electrical isolation
and damage protected if connected with reverse polarity.
This special unit is rated for continuous duty and is current limited
for long battery life.
When connected to your battery, It will keep your battery fully charged when the
utility experiences a "loss
of power".
With current power rates, it costs about (Php20.00) per month to keep your battery charged.
The constant draw or the charger is approximately 0.5 watts.

galvanized pipe. In all cases you need at least 2 of these (or more) for an
installation and a couple or stainless hose clamps work well when nothing else
is available. Between the 2 or more rods, you need to drive them at least 7 feet
(2 meters) or more into the ground to provide a good constant "earth ground"

throughout Asia. These can be screwed into wood, used with "Loc's" (expanding
plastic anchors) in cement posts, or welded to steel posts, so are usually the

VOLT BATTERY
A 12 volt battery 15 amp/hour battery will maintain full voltage on
the fence without city power for approximately 4 to 5 days. A small motorcycle
battery is 12 Volts at 4 Amp-hours and will maintain the power to your fence for
more than 24 hours.
Use the ASAT-04 Battery Charger above to maintain a full charge
on your battery without overcharging your battery.
Many installations use two (2) batteries so the alarms are
powered from the 2nd battery for increased security level.
